In Conversation AI there are several different events that can put the bot in a conversation “to sleep”.

Bot Settings

  • Bot Settings > Max Messages – When the total messages in the conversation reaches this limit.


Bot Goals

  • Bot Goals > Stop Bot – When the condition in this goal is reached.
  • Bot Goals > Appointment Booking > Post Appointment Booked – after an appointment is successfully booked.
  • Bot Goals > Human Handover – When the goal is reached and the conversation calls in a human.
  • Bot Goals > Transfer Bot – When the condition is triggered to switch to a different bot.

Conversation

  • Conversation > Manual Input – When a human user sends a message in the conversation.

  • Conversation > Manual Switch to Inactive – In the Conversations panel, manually switch the Conversation AI from Active to Inactive.

Workflow

  • Workflow > Action – When a workflow action sets the conversation to inactive/sleep.
  • Workflow > Message Sent – When a workflow sends a message in the conversation.
